JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4JAX Super 6 high school baseball rankings will be published each Friday during the regular season. Records are through March 28 games.

1. (1) Trinity Christian (12-1, Class 3A)

Notable wins: Buchholz, Clay, Lowndes (Ga.) twice, Mill Creek, Providence.

Glance: The Conquerors are on fire. Trinity ran its winning streak to 12 games with wins over a 16-5 Lowndes (2-1) and an 11-0 shellacking of an 8-3 Buchholz. They’ve got Baldwin to close out the week, but Trinity has only gotten better by the week. Aiden Arnett (.475, 2 HR, 12 RBI), Gage Petrutz (.429, HR) and Brayden Harris (.425) are powering the Conquerors.

2. (2) St. Johns Country Day (11-2, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Baldwin, Buchholz, Clay, Flagler Palm Coast, Florida High, North Florida Christian, Thomasville (Ga.), West Nassau.

Glance: The Spartans have won three straight, including routs of Baldwin (8-1) and University Christian (17-2) since our last Super 6. Up next are Fleming Island (Thursday) and Calvary Day, Ga. (Friday). Nick Bowden (.478, 2 HR, 11 RBI), James Gilson (.472, 3 HR, 12 RBI) and Kolt Myers (.389, 15 RBI) lead the St. Johns regulars. Myers jumped his average up more than 50 percentage points since last week.

3. (4) Tocoi Creek (12-2, Class 6A)

Notable wins: Beachside, Christ’s Church, Episcopal, Father Lopez, Providence, St. Augustine.

Glance: The Toros are red hot, stretching their winning streak to 11 games with wins over St. Augustine (11-4), Coral Gables (11-1) and Santa Fe (6-4) since our last Super 6. Next week is tough, with Clay, Menendez and a down but always dangerous Ponte Vedra. Andy Lemaster (.415, 14 RBI) boosted his average for the third straight week. Chase Pate (.357, 13 RBI) is right behind. On the mound, Brayden Harris (4-0, 28 Ks, 27.2 IP, 1.01 ERA) fronts the staff.

4. (3) Bolles (11-4, Class 3A)

Notable wins: Bartram Trail, Christ School (NC), Episcopal, Montverde, Oxford (Ala.), Yulee.

Glance: A 1-1 week since our last Super 6 for the Bulldogs. They got routed 9-1 by an excellent West Broward team that is 12-2-1. They bounced back with a 5-1 win over a quality team in Episcopal. Wolfson (Friday) rounds out the week for the Bulldogs. Jackson Geist (.429) and Chayce Kieck (.429) are leading Bolles at the plate. Kieck is also the top arm (3-1, 33 Ks, 30.1 IP, 0.00 ERA) along with ace David Martin (3-1, 47 Ks, 31.1 IP, 1.12 ERA).

5. (5) Bishop Kenny (11-2, Class 4A)

Notable wins: Clay, Fernandina Beach, St. Joseph, Sandalwood, Tocoi Creek.

Glance: The Crusaders have won six straight since a 1-0 loss to Buchholz. Since our last Super 6, Kenny beat Flagler Palm Coast and Clay both in extra innings, and then clipped Mandarin 3-2. All those wins came by one run. Creekside, Ponte Vedra and Chiles are up next week for Kenny. Owen Delaney (.422, 10 RBI) and Franco Chaluja (.385, 9 RBI) lead the Crusaders.

6. (6) Oakleaf (8-5, Class 6A)

Notable wins: Anderson County (Tenn.), Bishop Kenny, Clay, Fleming Island, North Florida Christian, St. Johns CD, Union County.

Glance: The Knights have won five straight, including an 8-7 win over Union County that avenged an earlier season loss. Next week is Fernandina Beach, Middleburg and Calvary Day between Tuesday and Saturday. Jorden Clarke (.333) leads Oakleaf at the plate.
